Vets with Vetts on TV

Our club joined WHNT Channel 19’s Day to Day with Mariah to promote our 21^st Annual Charity Car Show.  Tim Heinse took pictures for us that will be on our website soon.  Here is a link to enjoy the video:  Day to Day | WHNT.com. 

We had Corvettes from C3 through C8 on display.  Thanks to Bill Binkley for showing his C5 Viet Nam Memorial vehicle.  Also exhibiting their vehicles:  Tim Heinse (C8); Bill Olszewski (C7); Ted Whitney (C6); Pete Fast (C5); Rusty Trimble (C4); and Scott Tedicod (C3).

Ted and Bill did the interview with Mariah outside of the Channel 19 studios where we had the Corvettes all lined up.  Ted encouraged Mariah to “get the feel” of the Corvette by sitting in his vehicle and starting it up!  It was a fun morning and provided excellent publicity for the car show.

On Monday, June 1 we will be doing a similar event with WAFF’s Tennessee Valley Living starring Payton Walker.  Ted and Bill (or Patrick) doing the interview portion.  We would like to have 5-7 of our vehicles displayed outside the studio for the outdoor segment of the interview.  If you would like to participate, please let Ted know so we can send additional information regarding the time and meeting point.
