Corvettes at Sea!

Ray Vaughn, Renee Binkley, and Louise Olszewski are working to put together a club cruise on the Sky Princess March 1-7, 2027 leaving from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida.  This particular cruise will stop at Nassau, Bahamas, Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos, and Celebration Key, Bahamas before returning to Port Canaveral.  View the cruise on the website at https://www.princess.com/itinerary-details/?voyageCode=Y710.  Please let us know if you are interested in going – we did this once before and had a great time together.  We are interested in gauging how much interest there is in this club event.

For those that wish to book a reservation, there are a couple of options to consider.   You can certainly use the travel agent of your choice as some of you have established relationships with a TA and would prefer to use them.  Another alternative to consider is to use Expedia Cruises (Ms. Jennifer Comstock - Ray's TA) and book during their June sale that occurs once a year (June 11-14, 2026) where Expedia Cruises offers several hundred dollars of onboard credits in addition to whatever Princess is offering.

Additionally, Expedia Cruises is so large that they “pre-purchase” cabins from multiple cruise lines at a discount and can offer them for a lower cost to their customers (typically $200-$500 less than the Princess advertised price).   Ray did confirm that they have some pre-purchased cabins on the cruise we are considering that are available now.  If we get a minimum of 5 cabins reserved through Expedia Cruises – they can consider us a “group” and add additional benefits that could potentially include group space, cocktail parties etc.

Naturally, the cost of the cruise depends on the type of cabin that is reserved – lowest cost would be an “interior” cabin and highest cost would be “suite”.    Most prefer to look at “balcony” or “mini-suites” and these can be viewed on the Princess website to get an idea of size and amenities.   Princess also offers three fare classes – Princess Standard, Princess Plus, and Princess Premier (see https://www.princess.com/cruise-deals-promotions/plus-premier-cruise-packages for additional descriptions of these).    Most seem to select Princess Plus which offers a drink package, crew gratuities, and other benefits (we can talk more about these fare classes when we meet).

For those that might wish to book with Expedia Cruises or to contact them for additional information Jennifer’s contact info is:
