Corvette Plant Tours Update

Below is the latest from the museum regarding our hopes for a plant tour.  At this time we are unable to do a club tour of the plant.

We spoke with the group salesperson also this morning and he said it is the plant that makes all the rules regarding how many people can sign up for a tour (the limit is 4 people at one time) and the museum is not able to change the plant rules or provide a block of slots for Corvette clubs.

Good Morning Bill,

While I understand your frustration, the sold-out or nearly full tours were already purchased by various guests before you contacted the Museum about the interest in bringing your group of thirty. We can do our best to provide you with information on the best possible dates and times to book, optimal tour times for your group to be together as much as possible, and assist anyone who may need help with online booking.

  A t this time, these are the only three weeks that plant tours will be offered in 2025. Should anything change, that information will be shared via the Museum's social media, website, and e-mail newsletters.

  We hope that Vets with Vettes and Corvette Owners will still visit the Museum during one of these three weeks and enjoy all that Bowling Green and the National Corvette Museum have to offer.

While we were attending the NCM Member Appreciation Day, we spoke to Mariah Hughes regarding club group tours through the plant. She is going to be in charge of this area, so she will be arranging the tours. Mariah said if we can provide a projected number of participants, she would see if she can schedule a tour for our club during the week of August 11. This information was provided as she was going from one activity to another she could not be more specific.

If you think that you would like to tour the Corvette plant during the week of August 11, please send an email so we can provide an estimate of the number of people that would be interested in a tour. This doesn't obligate you to attend - it is just so we can let Mariah know how many are interested. Mariah will also want to know if you are a member of the museum.

Once we send Mariah a number of possible participants, she will send us information on what is available. We will post that information on the blog.
