I need help....

If there are any members who know somebody that can help me out with this nightmare, I'd appreciate it. This may include a lawyer. Here is the email I sent today.

Mr. Oldham

I am reaching out to you because I have run out of patience and good will waiting for the repair of my vehicle.

The issue: 2022 Corvette museum delivery in April 22. No problems with vehicle until the dealership installed a chip for the RPA module left out during build April of 2023.  Immediately after, on the next weekend I washed my car in prep for a show.  Started unusual symptoms, park lights flash on, couldn't get into rear hatch without key fob, and ultimately the car was completely dead the next morning.  I wash my car with a foam cannon, rinse, and blow dry. My driveway is at a 10.5 ° up angle for these washes.  5 times total after washing my car and pulling back into the garage, it is completely dead.  In a less than 18 month period. This all started after chip install and the final time in September of 2024. Always just reset codes and sent me on my way.  They did an update the 4th time to no avail.

My car has been at the Lynn Layton in Decatur for 14 weeks today. Since 19 September. At the dealerships advice I filed for a case number through the Corvette concierge.  #9-13698093633.

Chevy denied a buyback saying they could not replicate the problem.  But they did not replicate the above parameters, most glaring, the angle of elevation.  I've washed the car on flat surfaces with no issue.  It's my belief that something is getting wet, triggering the battery drain.  Loose or pinched wire, plug, etc.

I wasn't looking for a new car.  If they would have looked at the PDR footage they would see the fact that I did wash the car every time prior to it going dead.  Now at this point, I am asking again for restitution if they can't repair my vehicle. I have not heard one word from the dealership.  I went there last on11-14, obviously upset.  I have heard nothing before or since.  This situation is unacceptable and I'm going to have to seek a resolution soon.

I'm also going to contact as many people in the GM chain as possible, starting with you.

I'd appreciate any help in this matter.

If you need to contact me, I can be reached at this email or (256)658-6310.

Thank you

Walter Olszewski
