Day Trip NCM Hot Wheel Display

The National Corvette Museum is teaming with Mattel and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis to host a new summer-long exhibit called “Hot Wheels Race to Win,” slated to run May 27 through Sept. 25. Join us on Sunday, August 14, 2022 to experience this fun exhibit for yourself. This is a day trip leaving in the morning and returning after lunch.

Introduced by Mattel in 1968, Hot Wheels have come a long way, both in the diecast and life size varieties. More than 800 models and 11,000 variations of Hot Wheels cars have been created and more than 4 billion Hot Wheels diecast cars have been sold over the past 54 years. Also featured in the exhibit will be real race car parts, authentic artifacts, and memorabilia including Corvettes from the NCM collection. The museum invites Hot Wheels fan of all ages to push the limits of imagination and learn about the world of racing in this all-new exhibit.
