​Thousands of Corvettes will be headed to Bowling Green, Kentucky from all over the United States and Canada as a part of the National Corvette Caravan.  This event is a celebration of America’s Sports Car and the 30th anniversary of the National Corvette Museum.  Held once every five years, the next event is planned for August 29-31, 2024.

​

Regional caravans will form and join other caravans as they travel across the United States to meet in Bowling Green, Kentucky for three days of festivities at the National Corvette Museum.  Along the way, the individual caravans plan different activities.  Two of the caravans, the Southeast Caravan covering Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and North Florida and the Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee, are offering the opportunity to drive your Corvette on the track at Talladega Super Speedway.  Nashville Speedway No Longer available.

 

If you would like to participate in the track day and/or accompany one of these caravans to the museum, please contact the appropriate POC using the form included below.

There will be a cutoff date to register posted at a later date (no later than August 20th, 2024).

 

You do not have to register with the individual caravans to participate in the track day.  However, if you plan to participate in the anniversary celebrations at the National Corvette Museum - registration is required.  Registration is now open.

Activity: Southeast Corvette Caravan Track Day at Talladega 8/27/2024

Talladega Superspeedway and the Southeast Corvette Caravan are excited to host a private, track laps event on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024

​

Time: 11 AM CT to 1 PM CT

​

Please arrive by 10:30 AM CT to begin staging. Waiver forms will be provided ahead of time, and will be collected at the event

 

Your $75 admission includes:

- Three, complete laps around the 2.66 mile, 33 degree banked, Talladega Superspeedway 

- Group photos in victory lane, with the Talladega Superspeedway trophy

- Ticket to the YellaWood 500, NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, October 6th

Do to lack of registrations to meet the minimum required number to reserve the track, this event is canceled.

 

Because of this, Roy will be making arrangements for another location to hand out the credentials and leave for the Driftwood restaurant. The Driftwood Restaurant is still a go. Roy will give out more details and traveling instructions as we get closer.   Contact information is below.
