Nominations for the Board of Directors

The election committee has not received any nominations from the membership for our October 18 Board of Directors election, and we are already nearly halfway to the deadline for nominations.  Our club serves an important role in our community and within the veteran organizations we support.  We are a volunteer-based club, and we can’t exist without volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors.  Both the Birmingham and Mid-Tennessee clubs have disbanded due to a failure to fill their Board of Directors - we don’t want that to happen to us!

The hardest work the club is involved in is the work of our annual car show, and that continues to be a success because of you and your volunteer efforts.  Being on the Board of Directors includes attending occasional board meetings and accomplishing the tasks of the individual office – none of which is hard.  There is always someone available to assist you if you have questions or concerns.  The duties of the board positions are posted on the election pages on the website.  Please consider volunteering for a position (self-nominate) or ask some of our other club members if they would be interested in a board position.  Be sure you have their consent before submitting a nomination.
