Casa Fiesta Cruise for Lunch Via Bankhead National Forest

Feel like getting out of the house for awhile??? Does the Corvette need a little exercise??? Carol and I took a test drive for a possible Cruise for Saturday, 7 Nov. Nice drive, mostly on back roads through the countryside from Old Time Pottery in Madison, to Decatur, Moulton, through the Bankhead National Forest, Cullman, Arab, Guntersville, Scottsboro, and back to Huntsville, about 6 hours total. It would be about a 2 hour 20 minute drive to Casa Fiesta in Cullman (about one hour for lunch), then about 1 hour 50 minutes to Dairy Queen in Scottsboro (got to have an ice cream), and then about 35-40 minutes back to Huntsville/Madison. If we are lucky, maybe we will be able to see some beautiful colors with the leaves changing.

If you are interested in cruising with us please sign up on the club website. We will leave Old Time Pottery at 9:00am. We will go to Decatur pick up AL24 to Moulton, then pick up AL33 and head on down through Bankhead National Forest. After driving several different roads we will arrive in Cullman at Casa Fiesta for lunch. The restaurant has a large room but will still expect us to be socially distanced. Depart Casa Fiesta for Arab, Guntersville, Scottsboro, and back home.
